A LinkedIn profile that makes people want to engage with you.

This leads to more followers, more connections, more relationships (and more leads).

  • Your profile picture needs to look good and stand out.
  • Your banner needs to be complete and reflect what you offer people – what is the problem you solve for us?
  • Your headline is the most important part of your profile: you have a few seconds to make an impression. How are you going to make people feel about you? Will they want to connect with you?
  • Your headline should state the problem you solve for people, it should make you seem friendly and helpful (not salesy).
  • Your About section needs to talk about what you do for ‘me’ not talk extensively about you.
  • Your featured section needs to give us a low level of trust-building entry: so a sign up to a useful newsletter, a free download or something that gives us some value.
